40. & what we chat about automattically directly impacts the world at large?
OK, that's it. So knock off all the chit chat, the valentine hearts threads, the tweety threads, the Hackett threads, the price of fuel threads, etc. This is exclusively the Plame forum. Nothing else. No matter what.

Not even if Cheney almost kills a guy and then tries to cover it up. And apparently the victim isn't quite yet out of the woods, as evidenced by his trip back to the ICU.

The Plame story isn't going away: it's been here for over two years and unfortunately at this rate will likely drag out another year or more before there's a final resolution. Libby won't go to trial until next year.

By the way, if you read Fitz's letter, the source of the "Libby was authorized to release classified info" stories, you'll know that Libby did not testify that he was authorized or ordered by Cheney to blow Plame's cover. He undoubtedly was, but that's not what he testified to, according to Fitz. A rather small nit, perhaps, but actually fits the facts regarding Libby's testimony released by an authoritative source, Fitz himself, whereas your thread title does not.
