there is anger and disillusionment all along the left right continuum, expressed in different ways. No matter where she is on that spectrum, BHN is angry BECAUSE she has seen the truth and lashes out to discharge her stress. She needs to place the blame somewhere (OK we can take it).

As you say Spider, it's the dream of America that has been shattered. It's the illusion of a government that cares about and invests in its citizens--that is gone. It's the illusion of a country that "works" --that is eroded. It's the illusion of the Land of Freedom (speech, press, assembly, religion, freedom from illegal surveillance and search, election by the people etc...) that has been exposed. This is a massive overwhelming amount of disillusionment for some and they spend time in the pit of despair.

Dispelling these illusions is the first step to recovery. There will be anger and loss of hope. We are in the early stages of a collective grief. But we will come out of that state. We will persevere against those who abused the public trust and trampled on our constitutional rights for their own selfish gain. We will create the America we know we deserve to live in. We will learn to direct our righteous anger in positive solutions.
