In other words, there's nothing to be gained from refusing to budge one inch from your position--tying yourself in all kinds of knots to do so--simply because this isn't where the people in power look to make their strategic choices. This is a place where we discuss our ideas and have the rare chance to discover the good points and bad points of various strategies, positions, etc. With that in mind, it is positively worthless to pretend that one's views or supported strategy have -no- bad points and -all- good points. We don't need to run dissembling PR for either too-slow/ineffectual congresspeople or hardcore radicalists, we just need to discuss what we think about them.
