18. also unable to jump, Hubby tied to dialysis machine...
3 days/week, on disability, and quite frail. I do feel fortunate we live in a "remote" area; the closest freeway is 45 min. from here, through quite a few hills.

Think good thoughts in our direction: Hubby has to go into the hospital tomorrow morning (yes, Sunday morning), for a semi-emergency procedure on his dialysis access. The clinic was unable to give him dialysis today, and he came home with extra holes in his arm. Here we go again. Sigh.
