I consider both men to be fringe candidates. They do not have popular support, despite the internet frenzy for both men. That's reality. It's not a slam on people who like them--I have nothing against people who buck the popular tide and vote purely on principle. But the fact is, both guys are on the margins of their parties, and will never win their respective nominations.
