41. I'm like that when I go to my Petsmart. I avoid the section where they have resident adoptive
animals and on the weekends as that's adoption day for the local rescue shelters.

I have 3 kitties now. 2 adopted rescue kitties, and my 3rd showed up on our doorstep crying to come in at 5AM almost 6 months ago, when oddly, my younger son and I were both awake. I guess he's a rescue too as I tried very hard to find his people to no avail, and he is now a beloved member of our family. Every now and then when I think about his past I get very sad as I cannot believe that anyone wouldn't try to find this wonderful cat. He's about 5 years old, was altered, got along immediately with our youngest kitty and his manners are impeccable. All I can think is that whomever he was with, couldn't keep him and deserted him.

Right now I really don't have the ability to have any more, but I could just picture myself, 20 years from now, being one of those "crazy old ladies" who has 50 cats! I love dogs (and most animals) too but after my last baby of 15 years died, I decided I couldn't get another one.

Meanwhile, you deserve a
