27. Why does this writer, and many other people, ignore the real start of the regime?

It began with the murder of President Kennedy, and the Cons have been solidifying their strangle-hold ever since. And it's the same people and agencies (BFEE, CIA,...) that became the unelected Rulers.

The difference between then and now is that now the fascism is blatantly obvious--thanks to the many witnesses to the multiple stolen elections--and the internet provides good means of communication to discuss the obvious. (Thus congress' attacks on the internet "tubes.")

The coup was in 1963. We're seeing the results of over 40 years of occupation.
(Although the 'Mercan fascists tied to overthrow FDR in 1933 and failed thanks to General Smedley Butler.) We need to know the past to understand the present.

Other than that I have no quibble with the article.
;)
