10. There are not
a lot of Condi Rice supporters on DU. And it isn't because she is a black person, a woman, or her shoes. Rather, it is because she has been a part of the violent, criminal group of people known as the "Bush administration."

Recently, Vincent Bugliosi published a book, "The Prosecution of President George W. Bush for Murder." In it, he makes a strong case for prosecuting Bush, Cheney, and Rice for murder. He does not advocate prosecuting Rice for her shoes, or for being an instrument in the effort to bring about peace in the Middle East. Rather, he advocates prosecuting her for murder for her role in what he refers to as the biggest case of homicide in US history.

Condi Rice has also played a significant role in two of the most important scandals in US history: the Plame scandal, and the neocon/AIPAC espionage scandal. In the espionage scandal, a federal judge has ruled that defense attorneys can indeed call Rice to the witness stand. This ruling was based entirely upon her role in the espionage case, and not on her shoes.
