..not much here for mainstreet America.

$850 million for Amtrak is good start.. but we have a million miles of rusty track out there. When gas goes to $7 a gallon.. we'll wish we had the rail alternative for short hops.

State and Local fire stations and disease control is good start.. but this package does NOTHING... I repeat NOTHING , to put 6 million Americans back to work?

This package says nothing about using American Parts and American Labor and says nothing about oversight or NAFTA or tax laws to reward companies to bring jobs home.

Basically, this package ony takes care of those who already have cushy government jobs. Business as usual. BOHICA (bend over here it comes again)
