45. My father and all my uncles served in World War Two
After a brief foray into business, Dad went back into the Army and retired in the 1970s. Before that generation, I have heard of relatives whp were in the Austrian cavalry. My cousins of my generation whose families had stayed in the old country were in the Red Army. And I have a cousin on a submarine.
