So much for "tolerance" and the notion that others might have opinions that don't match yours. I'm always shocked, and a bit saddened, when I watch a frenzy like this OP inspired among people who are, I am sure, very good folks who just don't seem to understand that there are more ways than one of telling a story. They would be, I am sure, in high dudgeon if their actions were so quickly judged and found wanting in any given situation that could have been perceived in a variety of ways.

The Duke lacrosse team debacle, which had folks here in High Rabid Mode, didn't seem to have been the teachable moment it truly was.

In the meantime, yes, it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.........................
