We were not searching for signs of life with this experiment, we were searching for the signs of water-ice frozen into the bottom of deep craters near the lunar poles. It had nothing to do with a search for life. It has everything to do with detecting water on the moon for future scientific and possibly colonization efforts because there are a lot of advantages to setting up science stations on the moon (most notably the near-total lack of atmosphere).

There is almost certainly no life on the moon as the moon has almost no atmosphere and is exposed to vacuum. If there is life (and that's a huge if) it's microbial.

Again, I am not bothered by your questions. I am bothered by the ignorance of your questions and the fact that you obviously haven't read a thing about this NASA mission or you'd know better.
