I think what scares me most about the SC decision is how little time there is

This wrong has to be righted or you can kiss our Democracy goodby. Its really that simple. It has to be fixed before the next election, because the full force of this travesty will come to bear on us in the leadup to the 2012 election, if where you will find the rise of the pure corporate primary candidate - and which party the person runs in is immaterial. Once they are in there will be no way to unroot them.

And what do we have to face? A Republican Party well practiced in stopping the Democrats from fixing anything.

That is frightening. All they have to do is delay for one half of one election cycle to bring us fascism on a scale unimaginable. They have shown the ability to do just that for a year now - in last night's news they showed the willingness.
