23. She's right but for the totally wrong reasons (I guess that makes her still wrong)
This has nothing to do with insurance reform.

We've been in the process of losing our freedom for the last thirty years or more - the slow and painful coup d'etat of our economic masters replacing popular representation with representatives for Wall St.

The slow and painful coup that included the slashing of taxes on the super-rich by 10, no 20, no 30, no 40, no over FIFTY PERCENT...

The slow and painful coup that watched rules be removed or lightened allowing more and more corporate bribe money to flow into political pockets...

The slow and painful coup that saw the evisceration of labor unions - the last voice and protection of working class Americans.

The slow and painful coup that saw the criminalization of society - throwing more and more people into prison than any other industrialized country on the planet...

The slow and painful coup that saw the deregulation of commerce, the fleecing of Americans, the stripping of their rights of protest (free speech zones!) of legal recourse (SC rules in favor of corporations at a 20:1 ratio).....

The slow and painful coup that saw workers wages flatline or decline for decades up until today, that saw poverty rise, with only minor half % fluctuations downward in sporadic years...

We've seen American citizens detained without trial....

We've seen the USA Patriot Act strip us of rights....

We've seen FISA laws strip us of privacy....

We've seen President's declare universal power to arrest and detain anyone simply by declaring them an "enemy" of the state....

I often try to think about to what it was like before we lost our freedom in America.... but I was too young to remember. :(
