What yuor friend wrote is PURE backlash ideology, and for you to be able to answer you really need to undestsnd this

Been readying this book and been recomending it

The short version, Archie bunker is who many of these folks are... angry, and anti establishment in the old sense, and their poltiicos never deliver, part of the shtick

Oh and in their philosophy a liberal is a state of being, an incredible force of nature and anti american.

Oh never mind that much of their anger at Wall Street is redirected at this boogey man, instaed of... Wall Street.

But if you want to answer before you do

Ask:

Why is it that your heroes have gotten richer while you get poorer?

Why is it that your heroes promise to clean up the culture, yet they never do?

Why is it that your heroes tell you teh media is liberal... yet that same media refuses to cover the economic issues that affect you?

And I ould go on with the list

Oh and if you are a Liberal, be proud of it, after the last seven years backlash may become (I sure hope so) an endangered species
