The last para clearly states : UPDATE: The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries investigated the fish kill and determined that it was the result of low oxygen levels caused by low tides and high temperatures.

What isn't clear from the "sensational" pictures is any sense of depth of the water. Those fish are actually in 2 feet of water. What do think their chances of survival were ?
