When I heard he was being sent to New Hampshire, where I had some hope we might win, I nearly became ill. When I heard this "whining" news today, I was robbed of any hope I had and left only with despair.

ibegurpard, you ask the million dollar question: "do they really want to lose?"

Republicans, who are a minority in this nation, worship their base and they win friggin' elections. With the exception of Howard Dean, it seems the Party Establishment, takes great pride in assaulting its base. If it were just this single comment, then it would be nothing. But this has been a consistent drum now from Robert Gibbs, Rahm, Tom Kaine and too many White House spokepersons to excuse. It's either incompetence or total ignorance, and either of those two are inexcusable.

"Do they really want to lose?" I wonder.
