14. To clarify:
In common usage, in my experience, a "mirage" often refers to seeing things that aren't there: water where there is none, a mermaid where it's just an optical morphing of a rock, and such.

In this instance I am claiming that the buildings we see are real buildings.

Maybe the illusion part is that they're appearing much higher than they really are, like above the clouds.

If that's the case, if the city is actually there, then this could be a mirage.

My impression, however, is that the video is being sold (by the youtube poster) as a non-existent city that magically appeared where there is none.

If there's a different term for that sort of illusion, I would love to learn what it is.
