12. Oh I understand about the age thing,
Hit the half century mark myself this year, and am finding my tolerance for this kind of weather has diminished considerably. Back in 1980 we had a really hot summer, so hot that the record temperatures are still on the books, so hot for so long it burned away the humidity. I was out and working in that heat that year, and while it was uncomfortable, I could take it. Now, I would probably die of heat stroke, that's why I'm up early and get things done in the morning.

If your AC breaks, get thee to a cooling shelter. You might try sitting in front of a fan with a bit of water dabbed on you, it will help you feel cooler.

And please, don't pray for tornadoes, trust me, having lived through a few, you don't want them.
