You know what? I'm going to edit this.

This post originally showed a demotivational-like poster saying "White Privilege" with a photo of Penn State kids rioting and burning something.

The text was "White Privilege: When you can totally destroy everything in sight to defend the honor of an old white guy who raped a bunch of poor black kids...and you're not gonna get killed by police, not matter what you burn down."

That is the post that comments 1-4 are responding to.

I was focusing on the privilege of the rioters, and comments, as you can see, went to the race of the victims. On other boards I'm on, the race of the victims has been discussed a lot, but, I realize now, not confirmed. So that was irresponsible of me.

I don't usually do this kind of "whoopsie, take it back," but I am now, and for that I apologize. I do think there are things to think about regarding race, class and rioting, but this graphic wasn't the way to start that conversation.
