Yes, the Incense & Peppermints band is back, featuring several original members and Steve Bartek, best known for his work with Oingo Boingo.

Steve also worked as the musical arranger for Danny Elfman's movie soundtracks.

NIRVANA - album from 1991 Compilation (Goth Rock, Indie Rock, Ethereal)...

34 years later, I see this on YouTube:

My band on this record was - Pendu Femelle - track #8 "Heredity."

I was the drummer, engineer, producer whatever.

The female vocalist in the song "Heredity" is Cecilia ±, from track #4 "Woman Of The Lost."

Also a small detail: I had a Pasadena CA public access tv show called "Subterranean Sounds" that did shows with Cecilia and her band Angel of the Odd, Spiderbaby (track #7), and of course Pendu Femelle.

I think those public access shows may also be available on YouTube.

JOHN CARPENTER LIVE IN CONCERT @ Knockdown Center Queens, New York 10/10/25 FULL SHOW

I have been a big fan of John Carpenter, ever since I saw Assault On Precinct 13 with the movie's executive producer (Joseph Kaufman) at a theater on Hollywood Blvd back in 1976.

Joe was one of the first people I met after moving from Chicago to Hollywood in early 1976.

Joe told me he used 11 credit cards to fund the production of this movie, and I went with him to see it at a theater on Hollywood Blvd.

I was, and continue to be awestruck by John Carpenter, and everything he continues to accomplish.

EDIT: John Carpenter wrote and performed the music himself for his movies.

This video is JC with a full band performing these musical movie themes live, about a week ago.

Here's a Halloween Painting I made in October 2007...

...called "Generic Halloween Painting"

Back in 2007, I lived in a great little town next door to Pasadena CA called Sierra Madre.

I actually had trick or treaters that would come by, upwards of 100 kids.

I had a "scary art gallery" on my front porch, with this piece included.

Since I had to move out of that place over 12 years ago, I haven't seen a trick or treater since.

Framed size: 16" width x 24" height.

I think this took maybe 30-something minutes to paint (airbrush).

Also, the actual piece looks - smoother - than the photo seen here.
