i have not seen anything about his racist outburst about Rep. Omar last night. It was absolutely disgusting. He was off the rails with his hate filled rhetoric. Maybe the worst of all times for him. If anything happens to her or her family, he is to blame. He said a lot of nonsense last night in PA, but this was as racist and hateful as it gets. It would never have been tolerated previously, yet he gets away with it and it is barely reported.
When did it become common to insult female reporters with no backlash at all?
Just heard on MS NOW how he insulted yet another female reporter asking him a legit question. I don’t care who he is, he needs to be put in his place once and for all. I know this is too much to ask but he has to be confronted once in a while. The fact that the press corps walks it back just proves how far we have been degraded. In what world would this ever have been accepted?
So now we know why trump and kegsbreath went ballistic about not obeying illegal orders.
I knew they over reacted and now I know why. Seems several people obeyed illegal orders. I only hope the truth finally comes out about this whole situation.
I want to renew star membership with credit card.
I want a one time payment with credit card, but when I click on the link and put in all the info it still directs me to a PayPal account. I do not have a PayPal account and do not want to open one. I want to renew my membership with a credit card but cannot. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?
Saw the doctor yesterday for wellness visit.
I asked about the Covid vaccine and he was confused about what to do. I guess NC just decided last week to require a script for the vaccine if you are over 65 or have certain conditions that make you compromised. So he write a note recommending the vaccine for my husband and myself because of your age. We take it to CVS and they would not accept it…..they need an actual script. Called the office and was told they would do it. That was yesterday morning and still no script. Called the doctor’s office again today and was told it would take up to 3 days!. She told me they were inundated with requests because NC was undecided as to what to do up until a few days ago. A friend was told by his doctor last Friday that NC would not be giving the vaccine so he traveled to SC CVS, got the vaccine, no problem, no script. This is totally ridiculous and unnecessary. It is a direct result of trump and rfk,jr. and this administration. Now I really see the danger of this guy and his anti-vaxxers cohorts. People simply will not go through the hassle and I can hardly blame them. I cannot believe that in this day and age a person cannot get a vaccine when they want/need one. This is not an urgent situation for my husband or myself, but I can see where this will lead to future sickness and death. Public health is a serious matter and we have idiots in charge of the country’s health. Sorry for the rant.

RFK Jr. is so obviously unqualified for the job, it is unbelievable. He is so ignorant and the longer he remains in this job, he is more dangerous. This should be required viewing for everybody.
FL ballot
Just got my FL ballot in the mail. It looks different. The candidates names are listed starting with trump/Vance, then Harris/Walz, then the senate race, etc. The candidates names are just listed down the line with no special demarcation as to the party. Yes, it states Rep./Dem. Opposite the name but they all run together. Maybe I am wrong, but this ballot from Hernando County looks a little confusing. Intelligent people should have no problem, but low information voters that are not paying attention could easily get confused. I know what I am talking about because I was an assistant precinct coordinator here from 2008-2016 and I have seen plenty of voters pass through the voting booth who do not know exactly what they are doing. That’s what I have seen previously and I live in a red county. Don’t even get me started on Amendment 4, the abortion ban. The way it is worded is confusing and long-winded. Says nothing about the 6 week ban. It mentions that this may result in more cost to the state, fewer live births, etc. and all the bad results that could happen. Very misleading. I have to keep reminding myself to vote “yes” because one could get confused very easily. I think that is what they count on……..No, I KNOW that is what they count on.

I will change to “Katinnc”. Moving back to NC! Long time coming after 19 1/2 years in FL. Moving back to NC where we spent 21 years. Time to move back to be near family. Kind of bittersweet to be honest, but all will be fine.
Why the hell are MCNBC and CNN still broadcasting his supposed "press conference"?
An hour in and he is doing the usual lies and word salad nonsense he always does. The only reason he is doing this is because he cannot stand the positive coverage Harris/Walz is getting. Get used to it, you idiot! I had to turn it off after 10 minutes.
