I have been noticing the various textures of sugar and was wondering if anyone else has also experienced the same.
I generally use Imperial Brand, but have chosen other brands as well.
First one on my list is powered sugar. I used to love American Buttercream, however, the last time I made it is was so super sweet I couldn't eat it.
Anyone else notice this as well? or Has my tastebuds changed and it just appears sweeter to me?
Second is granulated sugar. I've noticed the grains appear larger. I had to sift some granulated sugar and it has definitely changed texture, while some sugar seemed fine there were extremely large grains they couldn't pass through the strainer.
I love to make Italian Meringue Frosting and Divinity. I made some Meringue last week and the frosting was grainy. I made sure to wash down the sides of the pan to avoid this from happening and yet it didn't matter. Again not edible to me.
Has anyone noticed this with the sugar you use?

I watched this last night start to finish. The videographer was on the Hwy 480 and shows the start of the surge, and how fast it evolved in a very short span of time.
The whole video last 38ish minutes. From start of the surge to the cresting of the bridge. Incredible footage. I believe the bridge is 30 ft above the riverbed.
I think he Gavin might have recorded directly to fb.

I’m promoting one of my friend’s artistic endeavor with the tarot cards he designed. He is originally from Jamaica but now lives here. I met him through the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC. I’m not getting any monetary benefits, just trying to promote a wonderful artist and friend!

Apparently, CBS and YouTube could not come to terms so Feb. 13 YouTube no longer offers CBS/Paramount.

It was extremely rude and I didn’t understand why 60 Minutes decided to let a man explain the VP’s policies while she was answering his questions! Mansplaining the VP of the United States.
Did Bill Whitaker think that the VP was incapable of answering his questions?
Did Bill Whitaker think that her policies would sound better coming from a man?
They did this in post production.
Did Bill Whitaker get the VP’s permission to mansplain her policies?
I believe this is a major reason Kamala doesn’t like to do these type of “treatment” as Bill Whitaker called the interview. These interviews actually make the media look stupid and it exposes their ignorance. It is a disservice to the American people.
