Charlie Sheen slams Obama with birther fodder over NCAA picks

Carlie Sheen wasn't happy to see President Obama making his March Madness picks Wednesday on ESPN — so he called the commander in chief names on social media and accused him of ignoring an unspecified military funeral.

"Barry Satera Kenya u won't attend a soldier's funeral uhkros da street that u kild yet u hav time 4 brackets? s a d," the actor wrote late Wednesday night, posting a shot of the president and Andy Katz on TV, puzzling over a Presidential Bracket diagram.

The name Barry Soetoro and the notion that Obama was actually born in Kenya are staples of the so-called birther conspiracy theory about the president. And Sheen has self-identified as a truther, if not a birther — but more on that later.

Porn Star Stoya Says Adult Film Is 'Pretty Feminist' Compared To Hollywood Movies

It's no secret that Hollywood still struggles with creating significant, complex roles for women. But if you ask Stoya, the porn industry is a bit further ahead, the adult film star told HuffPost Live on Wednesday:

It's actually less of a rarity to see the lead female character be the most interesting thing in a production in porn than it is to see in Hollywood and independent [film] and television. That's one of the things where typical porn actually is pretty feminist. The women are the stars. So if you're going to focus a movie around your star and they're female, it sort of inherently does tend to drag along a little more complexity.

Stoya and fellow adult actress Kayden Kross recently struck out on their own and founded TRENCHCOATx, a porn site with a pay-per-scene model that gives users more choices about what and how much they buy. Statistics show how hard it is for women to climb the production ranks in Hollywood, but it's quite common for performers to take control of their own work in pornography, Kross explained to HuffPost Live's Ricky Camilleri.

"Many, many girls end up with some sort of website that's a subscription site or something where they are in charge of production for their own stuff or they're partnered on production," Kross said. "Going from performing to behind-the-scenes -- production, investment, creating an online business -- that's very, very run of the mill in adult [entertainment]."
