What the comparison really is.

At my watering hole, it was brought up how much in benefits that "illegals" get. I was told that all that I had to do was to just Google it.
I did.
On my phone, I googled "how much do illegal immigrants get in benefits in the United States". I present the query on my phone to the bartender, that made the statement, and another patron, who was listening in, for verification. She agreed to what I typed, along with the other patron. I press search.
The result popped up immediately and without reading the result, I turned my phone that she could read the result.
"Your phone is wrong!" was her response. Then the owner of the bar piped in saying that illegals are getting thousands of dollars of food stamps, as quick as the patron says "that is not what this says" pointing to my phone.
Facts do not matter to this cult. We need to stop wasting time and energy trying to "reach them" This is not the former Republican party. This is a cult of personality, and just as shallow.

Remembering of how just truly unwarranted accusations of SA, in daycare facilities in the '80s garnered full investigations, honest lives ruined.
We now have credible adults with direct accusations, yet not the same pitchforks for the abusers.
Then again, remember the USA gymnastics team that reported repeatedly the SA to the FBI that never acted up to and until they were sued?

There's greater concern for $180 - $360 per month for food.

Yet, not a peep about a single person drawing salary of $26,300,000 paid for by those that pay for health insurance.
Do people understand that it is us that pay his salary?
And EBT/ foodstamps, is almost a rounding error out of my income.

About this Jimmy Kimmel show cancellation that I think is being missed.

Even though ABC has reinstated this TV show, Nexstar and Sinclair has chosen to have their affiliates not air this show in certain markets.
My question / concern is, what else is not shown on certain markets that they have enormous control?
I think that this was the first time to see the map of coverage that is held by Sinclair and Nexar along with notation of where they have blocked programming.
Are my concerns valid?

The left and progressives have been pegged with the most outrageous notions and ideas, the six or so trans athletes, the "undocumented" law abiding individuals seeking asylum.
Where is the push back that there is only one party that has the full support of the nazi party, white Christian nationalist, et al.
There is no head of the Democratic party or member of congress person that had a public opinion of anything to say about the tongue in cheek ad of the jeans ad. Yet there is a lack of pushback from this narrative, much less setting the record straight.
