Donald threatens to do the same thing to Iran he does to America

"Unleash Hell."

Yeah, Iran, don't elect this stupid fucker or you're really in for it!

I can hardly contain my sarcasm.

What goes around comes around.

Concerning the Strait.

How many other countries leaders are saying, "How can we look like we're helping Trump, but not do much?" "How long can we hold out without hurting ourselves also."

That's what I think I would be saying, but maybe they're more forgiving.

Good grief. Your pro/con list should dictate your support.

My con list on Trump is so long already, how Iran turns out doesn't matter at this point as far as my vote. It may matter for other things, but my vote, no way.

So, many things wrong right here in the USA under Trump, including Trump himself. And I sure don't want any more Trump-like candidates coming after him.

I'm not talking to anyone here, just making a general point.

Hegseth tells big lie.

Hegseth stated during a Pentagon briefing on Friday, March 13, 2026, that the U.S. military was prepared for all scenarios involving the Strait of Hormuz.

Did he forget to tell us how the US defenses fired on attacking boats or drones that hit the oil ships and just missed?

Or maybe they didn't have any forces actually in position and wasn't actually prepared at all?

So, they think Noem is the only problem in this administration?

One only wishes. Ronald McDonald fires the Hamburglar and mad circus rolls on.

Sen Mark Wayne Mullin (R) Oklahoma "I want to push back, this isn't a war."

from Blitzer interview.

As of March 1, 2026, following major U.S.-Israeli strikes against Iran, the U.S. military and Israel executed nearly 900 strikes within the first 12 hours, targeting over 500 locations, including IRGC facilities, air defenses, and missile sites. The offensive involved roughly 75 precision-guided munitions and 125+ aircraft, alongside Tomahawk missiles from the Navy.

Good thing we're not at war. No telling what war is.

Whatever the outcome, Trump has used fake emergencies both here and abroad to justify use of force actions.

When has he actually used real urgent Need to do practically any use of force?

Even Repubs should realize it's stupid to send productive people to benefit another country

based on crossing our border

If appealing to their humanity worked, it would have worked already. So, that's the only thing that might appeal to them.

The punishment is our punishment in cases of useful and productive people they want to deport.

I'm not arguing keeping the 'worst of the worst' although I do argue for due process for EVERYONE. It's rich when they complain about lawlessness. They can barely recognize rights of people.

New video, but is it real?

Only seen one video from one angle of Alex Pretti kicking out a taillight and spitting at ICE or border patrol vehicle.

One video from one angle is not enough to convince me.

Well our government would have access to the best Ai, would it not?

And I remember disliking the "Homeland" designation when I first heard it.

There was notable opposition and controversy regarding the use of the term "homeland" when the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was established in 2002. Critics largely objected to its linguistic associations, its break from traditional American political vocabulary, and its perceived authoritarian undertones.

Linguistic and Historical Concerns: Critics and language experts noted that "homeland" felt un-American, as U.S. presidents had traditionally used terms like "the nation," "the republic," or "domestic" to describe internal affairs. The word "homeland" was frequently compared to "fatherland" (vaterland) or "motherland," terms historically associated with Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, leading some to view it as "Orwellian".

Perceived Nativism: Some observers felt the term evoked a sense of defensive nationalism or ethnic belonging that was at odds with the American concept of a diverse, immigrant-based society.
