Run Bernie Run #SeeYouAtTheConvention

Sanders rise in the past year has been truly exceptional. He went from an 80 point deficit last fall to being nearly tied with Clinton today in national polls. Sanders was a virtual unknown when he began his campaign last summer, while Clinton is likely one of the most famous politicians in the world today. Sanders, while caucusing with the Democrats, and voting with the Democrats almost without fail for the past 30 years, is a newcomer to the Democratic party, switching his party affiliation from Independent to Democrat in order to run for the Democratic nomination, while Clinton is a true party insider. And Sanders has been able to build his miraculous movement against all odds, with the Democratic party openly hostile to him, and the major media outlets practically ignoring his entire campaign. And perhaps most impressively, Sanders has managed to fund his campaign entirely with small, private donations from individual citizens, refusing to take any money from large corporate donors or Super PACs. He has received a record-breaking 6 million individual contributions, averaging just $27.00 each. And even though Clinton is largely financed by wealthy donors and corporate funded Super PACs, Sanders has managed to out-fundraise her for many months.
