SupportSanity's JournalI posted this on Bluesky and it fizzled. I saw Trump's "Ball"room as a great opportunity. How can I make it better?
I thought this would be a great way to make fun of Trump with double word meaning.
I see this as having LOTS of potential.
Am I wrong?
Any suggestions to make it better?
Thx
Just received this call to action. Looks good!

Disaster for Alex Jones and Infowars as Supreme Court rejects last-ditch bid to avoid paying $1.4B to Sandy Hookfamilies
Source: independent.co.uk
The Supreme Court rejected a last-ditch appeal from right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones who is desperate to avoid paying nearly $1.5 billion to the families of the Sandy Hook massacre he falsely called a hoax.
The justices turned down his appeal without comment Tuesday.
Last week, Jones pressed for the nations high court to intervene, warning that unless justices take action, his Infowars website and assets will likely end up in the hands of satirical news website The Onion.
That potential acquisition which was put on hold earlier this year would support families of the victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School mass shooting, which killed 20 children between six and seven years old. Jones has called it staged and a hoax, fueling a wave of harassment against the families.

Originalist 'Bombshell' Complicates Case on Trump's Power to Fire Officials
Source: nytimes.com
The Supreme Court will hear arguments in December about whether President Trump can fire government officials for any reason, or no reason, despite laws meant to shield them from politics.
There is little question that the court will side with the president. Its conservative majority has repeatedly signaled that it plans to adopt the unitary executive theory, which says the original understanding of the Constitution demands letting the president remove executive branch officials as he sees fit.
But a new article, from a leading originalist law professor, has complicated and perhaps upended the conventional wisdom. The legal academy treated the development like breaking news.
Bombshell! William Baude, a law professor at the University of Chicago who himself is a prominent originalist, wrote on social media. Caleb Nelson, one of the most respected originalist scholars in the country, comes out against the unitary executive interpretation of the Constitution.

Might be problem for Trump on his quest for power. The Supreme Court respect this scholar's opinion and have taken his advice before.

"The Shock Doctrine" book by Naomi Klein. If you haven't read it yet, now would be a good time.
The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism
is a 2007 book by Canadian author and social activist Naomi Klein. In the book, Klein argues that neoliberal economic policies promoted by Milton Friedman and the Chicago school of economics have risen to global prominence because of a deliberate strategy she calls "disaster capitalism". In this strategy, political actors exploit the chaos of natural disasters, wars, and other crises to push through unpopular policies such as deregulation and privatization. This economic "shock therapy" favors corporate interests while disadvantaging and disenfranchising citizens when they are too distracted and overwhelmed to respond or resist effectively. The book challenges the narrative that free market capitalist policies have been welcomed by the inhabitants of regions where they have been implemented, and it argues that several man-made events, including the Iraq War, were intentionally undertaken with the goal of pushing through these unpopular policies in their wake.
Some reviewers claimed the book oversimplifies political phenomena, while others lauded it as a compelling and important work. The book served as the main source of a 2009 documentary feature film with the same title directed by Michael Winterbottom.[1]

Summary
Americans have long been told to drink two or fewer drinks per day
New guidelines due as soon as this month
Expected to include brief statement on limiting drinking
Alcohol industry faces growing scrutiny of health risks
June 18 (Reuters) - The U.S. government is expected to eliminate from its dietary guidelines the long-standing recommendation that adults limit alcohol consumption to one or two drinks per day, according to three sources familiar with the matter, in what could be a major win for an industry threatened by heightened scrutiny of alcohol's health effects.
The updated Dietary Guidelines for Americans, which could be released as early as this month, are expected to include a brief statement encouraging Americans to drink in moderation or limit alcohol intake due to associated health risks, the sources said.
The guidelines are still under development and subject to change, two of the sources and a fourth individual familiar with the process said.
Currently, the recommendations advise limiting drinking to one serving or less per day for women and two or less for men, widely seen as a moderate level.

Trump "won" - Election fraud - time for it to be exposed
There is a group that has been analyzing the voting data from 2024's election where Trump "won".
The group is comprised of statisticians and data analysts.
It looks like they have analized enough data and have decided to go public with their results.
They are giving it a month and then the big reveal.

The MAGA cult will only act like a cult with Trump - nobody else.
"The way that people feel about Trump and the leeway they give him on a bunch of things is non-transferable"
Sarah Longwell from the Bulwark said this on Wednesday's "Bulwark - The Next Level podcast."
Sarah runs several political focus groups every week. She has a particular insight into Trump voters based upon those focus groups.
So if something happens to Trump and he is out for whatever reason, it's a total game changer.
No more cult leader, no more cult action.
I think this one sentence from Sarah might be the most important sentence ever.
Sarah runs the "Bulwark Focus Group" podcast - available on YouTube and wherever you get podcasts.
I heard Letitia James talking on Jen Psaki's podcast from last night (Thurs night)
I gotta tell you, absolutely amazing. Truly impressive.
I truly just felt like standing up and saluting her. (corney, eh?). But really did feel that way.
I highly recommend giving her a listen from last night's "The Briefing with Jen Psaki". (I listen to it as a podcast).
