to battle and would amass there in the trees before the battle for the pickings to come. No doubt the tech bro oligarchs and MAGAs in on the joke are positioning themselves to be in the right place after humanity, liberalism, democracy and diverse loving people fight the hate-filled MAGA patsies. Both will be much poorer and less powerful for the battle. Better for the crows.
Republicans are weak under Trump. They look weak. They will
lose elections in 2026 because they are weak and Democrats are fighting back consistently and forcefully. If Trump stands back and releases the Republicans in order to make Republican Congress people look strong, Trump will look weak and MAGA will not vote in huge numbers.

Eileen Higgins will be the next mayor of the city of Miami, according to a projection from CNNs Decision Desk, breaking a nearly 30-year Republican streak in holding the nonpartisan seat and giving Democrats another example of strong performance in elections during the first year of President Donald Trumps second term.
Higgins, a former county commissioner, will defeat city manager Emilio Gonzalez, who was endorsed by Trump. She won Tuesdays runoff after leading the first round of voting on November 4 with 35% of the vote to Gonzalezs 19%.
Democrats are already riding a wave of momentum after a dominant performance in Novembers off-year elections and over-performing their 2024 results in Tennessees 7th Congressional District, shrinking a 22-point 2024 margin to single digits in a special election last week.
While Miamis mayor holds little formal power, the person in the role serves as a high-profile ambassador for the city. Outgoing Mayor Francis Suarez tried to parlay the position into a run for president in 2023, which ended after only two months.
The US is now a corrupt nation and they turn on the least corrupt Western European nations? Coincidence? I think not!

Republicans Push to 'Deport Them All' After D.C. Shooting
Applegrove: creating hundred of war aged, young males, from a targeted religion in the US with nothing left to lose sounds pretty reckless at this point. But that is what will be if they get threatened with being sent back to Afghanistan.

Republicans are dramatically ramping up their anti-immigration rhetoric after the shooting of two National Guard members in D.C. by a suspect who is an Afghan national, with some calling to end Muslim immigration entirely and deport every single Islamist, Axios reports.
They want a financially weakened middle class. The only people who do well in a recession
are private equity and hedge funds (they can gobble up smaller businesses that were previously doing great).
Don't forget all the people who are going to lose their jobs and attached HEALTHCARE to AI.
I wonder if it will be 5% of jobs? Or more.
Does anyone know the estimates for job cuts in the coming years from AI? That's a lot of people who would need healthcare through the ACA markets in the years to come. And if Trump replaces Obamacare with something that allows pre-existing conditions to be denied care then those newly unemployed will be f***ed.

For years, Jewish Republicans often denied that the right had a serious problem with antisemitism, pointing instead to anti-Jewish bigotry on the left and celebrating President Trumps support for Israel, the New York Times reports.
But now that problem is staring them directly in the face.
Tensions over antisemitism in the party, free speech and Israel have burst to the forefront of G.O.P. politics, and show signs of becoming a fierce point of contention in 2026 primary races and beyond.
Applegrove: pretending to want to drain the swamp or be for replacing Obamacare with something better are all phony talking points to fool the base into voting GOP but the Nazi thing seems to be a promise its proponents actually want to keep.

undocumented people in the millions reduces demand for rental units like you said, the prices of apartments will go way down? Right? Right?
