Later this morning I'll be making scrambled tofu with veggies and a pot of hot tea.


Today the Battle of the Bulge begins in 1944 in the Ardennes forests on Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Nazi Germany. The Nazi High Command in an attempt to force the Allies into a favorable peace treaty for them attacked, it was a total surprise to the Allies. It was also starting to snow, heavily and somewhere in that terrain my late father in law of blessed memory, Jack was a 22 yr old radioman with literal cold feet.

I have no idea what I'm fixing later this morning, I'm still drinking tea

My Mom died today in 2023 and I am not doing well

I did order flowers for my sister In-Law Kim. She took care of our Mom for 35+ years.
I did order flowers, separately for my brother, her husband.
I did send a card to my rotten brother. He sucks as a brother & as a human, but he was her golden child.
My sister & I talked, a lot this weekend over various things. I am blessed by her

Kids on my street are selling those chocolatebbars for a school fundraiser.
