Trump is proof of one thing

Trump is proof of one thing...
That a person can have all the money and power in the world and still be a miserable, unhappy, discontented, paranoid, thin skinned and petty human being who can't sleep at night. He's a cautionary tale that for some individuals the world is not enough

It would be sad and tragic if he wasn't in charge of the most powerful military in the world and its nuclear arsenal. .

Trump's only going to get worse

His psychopathy is being enabled, emboldened and even encouraged like never before. He truly believes his power has no limits and no one around him is telling him no. Which is why he's acting even more obnoxious and vile than usual.

Trump is only going to become more dangerous and annoying with each passing day. The next 3 years are going to feel like 30. Just look at how he's acted the past 8 months. With Project 2025 in place Trump is doing damage to the government even when he's asleep.

So don't expect Trump to get better or suddenly change his ways. Or to be shamed into becoming a kinder person.
A 79 year old billionaires with the most powerful job on the planet doesn't have a lot of incentive to attend therapy or examine the consequences of what they do and say.

So now when Trump says or tweets something awful I just yawn. It's his administration's actions I'm more scared of.

A verbally abusive man baby with nuclear weapons

A majority of American voters seem to prefer to live under the rule of the biggest asshole in modern history.
They've repeatedly voted for this verbally abusive bully who has the emotional maturity of a 6 year old and the attention span of a knat.

The only silver lining is that Trump is old, tired, in horrible physical shape and (hopefully) out of office in 3 years and 4 months.

However the despicable hate monger Stephen Miller is actually running things and he's basically a younger version of Trump without the cognitive impairment. He does the dirty work knowing his boss will sign off on any idea no matter how cruel and racist.

What's truly sad is 77 million Americans chose this path and are perfectly fine with where he's taking us.

I think it all comes down to the fact that most Americans don't vote in elections and either see voting as pointless or too much of a chore. That's how you end up with awful leaders like Trump.

The truly sad thing is that if Trump did run again in 2028 he'd without a doubt win the Republican nomination and possibly a third term as leader of the free world. And the people who don't vote and never will vote won't even care.

Odds American survives the next 3 years?

At the rate Trump's going after only 7 months in office what are the odds America survives the next 3 1/2 years?

The guy's mental illness is only getting worse. Nothing makes this guy happy. All the money and power in the world and he's still a sadistic man child.

After 10 years of dealing with this sick fu** the only thing I know for sure: all he cares about is staying in power and he's never going to give it up voluntarily.

His every action is motivated by keeping power and punishing anyone who threatens to take it away including the American voters.

If Democrats take back the House in 2026 I see Trump becoming even more cruel and spiteful. If he feels threatened or cornered there's no telling what he's capable of.

I'm trying really hard to maintain hope that his reign of terror will end in January 2029 but it's tough. I seriously doubt Trump and his MAGA cult is ever going to go away quietly. Trump can't imagine a life without being President. And his followers can't imagine having any other President than Donald Trump.

42 more months of chaos, cruelty & corruption

77 million Americans voted for 4 more years of Trump's chaos, cruelty and corruption. For those of us who voted against this madman, January 2029 can't come soon enough.

The only time we truly get a break from this lunatic"s barrage of insanity is when he's asleep. And even then his staff is posting deranged statements under his name on his propaganda app.

This incessant drama and distraction is all by design. The media keeps chasing it's own tails trying to keep up. After 10 years I'm finally starting to understand why the majority of Americans choose to tune him out simply to stay sane

77 million Americans should be ashamed

The 77 million Americans who voted for Trump should be ashamed of themselves and have trouble sleeping at night.

And if they aren't experiencing any guilt about voting for this horrible, despicable traitor, I sincerely hope they personally feel the pain of his cruel policies.

I don't care if they're nice people or mean well. The fact they could actually vote for someone as cruel and corrupt as Donald Trump is all you need to know about their moral character.

I'll never forgive them for the irreversible damage they've inflicted on our once great country and the rest of the free world.

Thinking Democrats can stop Trump (FB post)

A friend of mine on Facebook named John Marques recently posted this in response to everyone bashing elected Democrats for not stopping Trump. I think it's 100% accurate.

A number of you are asking where the Democrats are, why they aren't doing anything to stop all this. Baby, it's too late. The time to stop this was at the ballot box in November.

There are three branches of government: Legislative, Executive, and Judicial. Democrats do not control either the House or the Senate ( legislative). They do not control the executive branch (that's controlled by Trump) nor do they control the judiciary. Had idiots not sat out the 2016 election to punish people, Democrats would have a 6-3 majority on the Court. Instead, Republicans do.

Meanwhile, Democrats have been utilizing the only potential measure of power they have by suing the Trump Administration. That's literally it until we get into budget negotiations. But for now, the Supreme Court is all we've got. However, they're so thoroughly corrupt that we have no idea what they're going to do. And, quietly, even if they do stand up to the Trump Administration, the federal judiciary has zero means of enforcement. That means the Executive and Legislative branches, which are both controlled by the GOP, can simply refuse to comply with the courts. Since they've already ruled that Trump can do whatever he wants, he could literally unalive them all anyway.

So, what is it you want Democrats to do? Be specific. This is why the election was so damn traumatizing and devastating. It wasn't just because Kamala lost. It was because we also lost any ability to put a check on Trump's power.

So, instead of asking why Democrats aren't doing anything to stop him, why don't y'all ask why Republicans are doing nothing? Why do we keep letting them off the hook? Because they're the only people who can stop Trump. They control the Legislative Branch of the federal government, yet y'all are mad at the Democrats who control nothing? Somebody please make that make sense. Please, Lord, explain it to me like I'm 5.

As a lifelong Democrat I'm really protective of my party. We've gotten criticized relentlessly by never-Trumpers and double haters for not ending Trump's political career over the past 10 years. I hate bullies and we get bullied a lot. Blamed for this country's toxic addiction to an authoritarian criminal thug.

Unfortunately a lot of the electorate would rather protest than govern. If we don't actually win elections we're irrelevant. The people who don't vote or vote third party to punish the Democrats have led us to this point where democracy has been replaced by autocracy.

If we'd won the House and were doing nothing to stop Trump that would be one thing. But right now we control nothing. And people can't say they weren't warned what Trump would do if re-elected. They just wouldn't listen or thought we were being hyperbolic.

Elections have consequences. We're in the middle of the biggest consequence in American history. If we have another free and fair election we might be able to do something to stop Trump. Until then we're in political purgatory.

Trump hates the job of being President

Trump only wants the title of President of the United States not to have to actually do the job.

He was happiest during the transition when he won the popular vote, no longer had to worry about going to jail and had billionaires like Bezos, Zuckerberg and Musk kissing his butt.

He loves the prestige of being POTUS, the adulation, money and honestly does want to stay in office the rest of life. That's why he fears the 2 term limit and is already trying to change it. He fears boredom, irrelevance and accountability for his criminal life.

But as far as doing the job of chief executive of the federal government, he hates it. He's lazy, hates reading and has never worked an honest day in his life.

His response to the plane crash in DC is a glaring reminder of the fact he hates the public service part of working in government. But his voters want the country to be run like a business. And they expect the bankruptcy king who was convicted for tax fraud to lead us there. To quote the orange idiot himself that's, "Not good."

Ignorance Isn't Bliss

Most Americans have had the luxury of tuning out politics the past 4 years because we've had a President who quietly did his job instead of tweeting and trying to dominate every news cycle with trolling.

They've blissfully ignored the news and decided last November that it didn't matter who won the election. That Trump wasn't that bad and we'd be fine either way.

With the Biden-Harris administration we didn't have to think about what the White House was up to every day. In a crisis like the recent LA wildfires, we knew the federal government would be there and that Biden would do the right thing.

People take that for granted. A functioning government. And I think they're going to miss it when it's gone.
They may never admit it. But Trump's daily chaos is going to annoy them too.

People are about to find out there's a big difference in how Democrats and Republicans govern. And that it actually does matter who the President of the United States is.
