These are the first of 20 coming to Collier County

I believe the plan is to add about 300k residents to Collier, nearly doubling the county's population.

Collier Enterprises is planning for two more villages in primary panther habitat, and they want us to pay for some of it. How can this happen, you ask? Well, it can and will happen if the Collier County Board of County Commissioners approves two new 1,000-acre villages, Longwater and Bellmar, within the Rural Lands Stewardship Area (RLSA). In addition to causing devastating impacts to the endangered panther’s last remaining habitat, the developer proposes to pass on to the County many of the costs necessary for providing the new villages with the required infrastructure and services.

Restaurant refuses party of McLaughlin and Flynn

Last week 3 out of the 11 Republican Representatives voting to remove MTG from committee assignments were from Florida. They actually took a stand for doing the right thing. Now today we read about - A conservative fundraising dinner in Naples, Florida featuring Michael Flynn, the disgraced former national security advisor pardoned by former president Donald Trump, is moving to a “secret location” after being booted from Shula’s Steakhouse in the Naples Hilton, according to its organizer.

The movie Yesterday (2019) - based on Beatles tunes with a twist

An unknown musician with a memory of Beatles songs awakens after an accident to a world that never had Coke, cigarettes, or the Beatles. Of course he becomes overwhelmingly popular as he plays the songs and enters the world of commercial music. As much a part of the movie are how his relationships change and he weighs the worth of happiness against career choices. It's a fun movie, and you'll love the soundtrack.
