Why would God send a bear to maul children?
II Kings 2: 23-24: “From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking up the path, some small boys came out of the city and harassed him, chanting, ‘Go up, baldy! Go up, baldy!’ He turned around, looked at them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two female bears came out of the woods and mauled 42 of the children.”
The message was a corrective message to address current attitudes and behavior that if heeded would ward off worse sins and greater judgment. The gang was shocked and silenced when mauled (not necessarily killed) by the bears, and their parents and community were warned to repent of their sins (reflected in their children) and obey God before worse judgments befell them!

If the task force continues Trump has to show up. Even cutting back to twice a week would be admitting that he was a public disaster. That just can’t be with him. Not a possibility.
Everything runs around and is about him. In his mind and all of the Executive branch. Consequences be damned. He can’t feel like he looks bad.

This could be very interesting to watch. I was watching Fox News (curious) and they had a story on it. Owner of Burger Bar in Virginia was on saying business across the street are open but not his. He called for a regional opening.
Bristol is really its own world in Southwest VA. “The Mountain Empire”. It’s a 5 hour drive from Richmond, roughly the same as a trip to the NYC area (given traffic).
Oh and Sullivan County is one of 6 metropolitan counties in Tennessee that will set its own rules per their own Health Departments.

Well CNN seems to be on board with re-openings
Top of the hour “the spirit of re-opening”
Just now “quarantine fatigue is setting in”
In between they had the Mayor of Boston in disbelief of any re-opening. Wolf made sure to show crowds on the Mall in DC “getting outside. Enjoying the fresh air. Getting some exercise”.
They are mentioning that all the estimates are doubling. Gee, wonder why.
