Trailer for THE DROP BOX Saving children from being dumped on the street

http://www.viralnova.com/drop-box-babies/

There is a man in South Korea that is doing something strange with a wooden drop box. It looks like what you would use to drop off your mail, but that’s not what he finds inside. He actually collects other people’s babies… to save their lives. Pastor Lee Jong-rak from the Jusarang Church in Seoul South Korea asks people to place their unwanted children in the box instead of dumping them on the street or in the trash.

So they do.

Anonymous Customer Gives Waitresses $15,000 Tip After Overhearing Their Conversation

Random Act of Kindness: video at the link

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/02/03/amber-kariolich-tip_n_4717667.html

Over the weekend, three waitresses at a restaurant in Caledonia, Ill., each received a $5,000 tip from an anonymous woman -- and two of the waitresses weren't even serving her table.

Amber Kariolich, Amy Sabani and Sarah Seckinger had been discussing paying bills and financial hardships with each other while they worked at Boone County Family Restaurant on Saturday, WIFR reported. All three young women were shocked -- and extremely grateful -- when the customer approached them with the checks.

"I want you girls to take these to help with school and everything else in life," the woman told the waitresses, according to the Rockford Register Star. "Yes, you can take it. You put that in your pocket. God sent me here to help you."

Clerical Error In Child Support Payments Leads To Six-Month Jail Sentence For Clifford Hall

Are private prisons behind this law and this judge? From everything I've heard, "Texas justice" is an oxymoran...

Due to a clerical error, Texas father Clifford Hall received a bill charging him nearly $3,000 in overdue child support last year. Hall quickly repaid the amount, even paying an additional $1,000 to balance his debt. But despite his repayment, Hall was sentenced to six months in jail. He and his attorney Tyesha Elam joined host Nancy Redd to share his story on HuffPost Live.

Errors in the automated child support withdrawal amounts from Hall's paycheck caused a payment shortage, but when Hall discovered this imbalance, he worked to pay it immediately.

Elam explained, "I assumed as soon as he brought me the receipt catching him up as well as the letter advising him of the overpayment, I thought, 'oh this one will be easy.' I'm thinking, 'let me let the opposing counsel know and we'll be done with this matter.'"

"But the opposing counsel informed me that she wasn't willing to settle the case. She wanted $3,500 in attorney's fees and she was confident from this judge that she could get it. So she refused to settle. So we had to move forward."
