Oh look, another of tfg's state officials is a alt-right, white supremacist, anti-semite!

Quelle surprise! Non!!

Michael Benz, a former Trump State Department official whose work has been cited in congressional hearings and promoted by Elon Musk, has become a go-to voice for Republican criticism of government and social media censorship in the past year.

But before his stints in government and as a pundit, Benz appears to have been a pseudonymous alt-right content creator who courted and interacted with white nationalists and posted videos espousing racist conspiracy theories, according to recordings, livestreams and blog posts reviewed by NBC News.

The pseudonym, Frame Game, posted videos and participated in podcasts and livestreams during the rise of the alt-right following Donald Trump’s election. Frame Game avoided showing his face in his videos or appearances, during which he pushed a variety of far-right narratives including the “Great Replacement Theory” that posits the white race is being eradicated in America for politics and profits. In others, Frame Game said he was a white identitarian, railed against the idea of diversity and made montages urging white viewers to unite under the banner of race.

In interviews with white nationalists, Frame Game blamed Jews for “controlling the media” and for the decline of the white race. “If you were to remove the Jewish influence on the West,” he said in one video, “white people would not face the threat of white genocide that they currently do.”

My mind/heart just can't wrap around being a nazi.

What kind of degenerate thinking goes into this mindset? How much energy goes into hating and to basically having your humanity and soul decay from the inside out? Not realizing that YOU are the problem, you try to reach/program others, use their vulnerabilities to plant seeds of rot into their humanity and foment violence against your fellow humans. I am not religious, but I do believe in evil.

Well, Mike Pence finally found some of his cajones.

GLENWOOD, I.A. — Former Vice President Mike Pence tore into Donald Trump and pointed to isolationism in the Republican Party as complicit in the sweeping Hamas attack on Israel, decrying American “retreat on the world stage.”

In a scathing rebuke of isolationism in the Republican Party, Pence faulted “voices of appeasement like Donald Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy and Ron DeSantis that I believe have run contrary to the tradition in our party that America is the leader of the free world.”

Pence’s comments in Iowa represented the first ripple in the Republican primary from the violence that erupted on Saturday — and effectively threw down a challenge to Republicans he said have “embraced the language of isolationism and appeasement.”

The role of the United States in maintaining global security is one of the most important points of friction between the Republican presidential candidate — one that could now erupt in a new way because of the violence in Israel.

Ghost story telling time.

It's October and here in N. Florida. There is the promise of a "cold" front in the next day or two. (50° in Florida is a cold front, lol) I feel like telling my true story of my FIRST ghost encounter. I've had many since then, but here goes what happened to me when I was 21.

One afternoon I woke up to a young man petting my cat, Lucy. She was sleeping at my feet and seemed to be enjoying the petting. This was a crisp cold November afternoon and the sun was shining and the sky clear in 1982. The young man was in a red lumberjack shirt and jeans. His hair was blond, longish, parted on the side and swept over his brow in the 70's style. He smiled and walked toward the door and disappeared but I continued to hear footsteps in the old apartment where I lived.

I called out to my roommate, "Bridget?" But nobody was there. Later, when I told her what happened, she told me someone had called her name one night and woke her up.

Fast forward a few years, the Tallahassee Democrat newspaper asked for local ghost stories one October. I sent mine in complete with the address and my name. A guy called me and said he was a friend of the young man who had died in 1976 in a parachuting accident in Gadsden county Florida and he had lived in that same apartment. He said his friend was blond and always dressed in flannel shirts and jeans, even in summer. He sent me a picture of his friend and it really resembled the young man.

Fast forward a few years, I was working at a facility for disabled adults and the teacher wanted to tell ghost stories in, of course, October. He started. He said he was at a party on Bronough street a few years back. My ears perked up. "Bronough street in Tallahassee? Was it 800 Bronough street?" He said yes and went on to say he and his friends were partying and through the front window, they saw a BLOND HAIRED GUY IN A RED FLANNEL SHIRT walking up the stairs and knock on the door. When they answered the door, nobody was there. Wow, then I told him what happened to me in the apartment next door.

Fast forward to 2003 and I was working as a nurse at a rehab facility with a patient paralyzed in a motorcycle accident. Well, we were talking about paranormal experiences and I told him mine. Then, he said he knew who it was and the other survivor of the accident was a friend of his and was visiting the next day. I met his friend the next day and he corroborated the whole story to me, where his friend lived and the description of him.

I recently tried to look up the parachuting accident online, but there was no record of it. I wish I had kept the picture the friend sent or got names.

That is just one experience. I lived in place out in the country where covers were pulled off, weird music came from one room, a bread box flew off the top of the refrigerator, apparitions were seen, and the lights flipped on and off. As my wife and a friend of ours were laughing about the lights one night, the light in the hallway flipped on. We laughed even harder.

And that's just a bit of my many true experiences. I'd love to hear your true ghost encounters.

You wanna know one of the worst parts of getting old ( I don't mean 40 or 50) ?

Flatulence. Yes, did you know that our assholes actually get weaker? Your muscle tone gets weaker causing you to to inadvertently pass gas?

Yeah, all you youngsters, that's what you have to look forward to. I never used to fart in public. Now, at 62? Yeah, it happens.

I just started a sour dough starter, so send me some of your best tips and recipes.

The starter is bubbling up nicely and the odor is wonderful and so sour, already. I can't wait to start using it next week. I've looked up a lot of tips and recipes on the internet, and I could use more. I read one recipe for sourdough biscuits. And pancakes sound delicious.

So, if you have some easy peasy and delicious recipes, I'd love to try them. Lol, I looked one up that used the bread machine and I thought that would be cool because the sourdough can be quite sticky. But, the amount of stretching and pulling and scraping made me scrap that recipe!

Any shortcuts or tips would be appreciated. And did you start yours or do you have a cool family or friend story about the "mother?" Thanks!!
