104. Ahhhh
a big :hug: to you too!

Out here on the farm we get lots of extra critters. Dogs show up, I stick out some food just in case they are hungry and figure if they have a home they will go back to it. Cats? God, the lady across the road does not believe in neutering, inoculations and she does not feed her cats. It is constant out here and I just can't stand letting them freeze or starve or die of disease.

Honestly, it makes me feel good to take care of them. They make me smile most of the time and somehow it just feels like that is what I am here for, taking care of things. I am such a pushover and it sounds like you are as well.

Your comment about being one of those "crazy old ladies" hit home. I finally decided that is what I aspire to be, it is inevitable so why not just make it so?

Sorry about your baby, that hurts so much and is the downside to keeping so many critters. Someone is always on the late side of life.
