"Dear man on the bus" - awesome anti-sexism poetry slam

This is truly an awesome bit of work. 7 words from a sexist pig, overheard on a bus, inspired this spoken-word piece.

Lots of Teapublicans ARE racists. Put on your grownup pants and deal with the reality

"And it isn’t like they are trying to hide it. From the “Republican” party official who derides Democrats and “lazy blacks”, to the jackass waving a confederate flag at our black President, to the Congresscritter who compared Obama with a tar baby, the racism is out there and man, there’s a helluva lot of it.

Hell, even the KKK says that these Repubs and Teabaggers are racists. When people who count “racist” as a compliment call someone a racist, you can take that to the bank."

The third time, it's enemy action.

"The first international Snowden revelations were about China. And they were released to the “news” media, right before Obama met with Chinese leaders.
The scheduled talks were derailed and damaged by the resulting brouhaha.

The second time involved Russia. Shortly before Obama and Putin were supposed to meet. So much fuss was raised, the meeting didn’t happen at all.

And right before this week’s EU meeting, some Snowden revelations hit the press about… You guessed ‘er Chester, about the NSA spying on Europeans. American/European relations have taken a big hit."

Steubenville Rape Grand Jury indicts another scumbucket.

"This is why the grand jury was needed. Steubenville, as a town, tried its best to deny and cover up its predilection for sex crimes, and got busted due to the initial efforts of a blogger and a posse of hackers. Two of the perps thereafter got jailed, but those who engaged in the cover-up initially escaped punishment.

Today’s scumbucket rape-enabler is the 20-year old daughter of the school employee who was indicted recently. From the article:

Hannah Rhinaman, 20, was indicted on two counts of receiving stolen property and one count of grand theft, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine said in a statement."

Never mind.

Ohioans used to call Dennis Kucinich "Kooch", and it's a profanation of his good, liberal name to associate it with that teabagging, sex-hating loon from the southeast.

There are lots of other things to call Cuccinelli, anyhow. And most of them are more fun, and fitting.

On edit: I did not realize that this nickname was of long standing. My apologies to all those who have corrected me, and my sympathy for your having had to deal with the jackass for so long.

John Arthur, Warrior, has passed away.

"A very brave man has died. John Arthur, who with his husband forced the Teapublican government of Ohio to recognize their same-sex marriage, has passed away. He will be listed as Mr. Obergefell’s husband on the death certificate, and the two will be buried side by side.

You know, just like every other married couple. Because he was a warrior. Because he had to be a warrior.

RIP John Arthur. If there is any justice in this universe, your memory will be honored for many years to come."

The Federal Budget Deficit is SHRINKING. Even if the Teabaggers pretend it isnít.

"Facts are awesome things. For all the screeching from the Boehner Brigade and Marching McConnells, we do not have an enormous increase in spending. Obama is, in fact, the biggest tightwad Prexy since Eisenhower."

"Remember the shrinking deficit as the Teapublicans scream about the “urgent” need for deep cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and other vital programs. There is no urgent need to cut such costs. None. Zip. Nada. Ixnay."

Raped in a small town? Donít just rely on the cops: call Anonymous

Once again, a small town police force sides with the rapist and abuses the victim. Once again, the rapist gets off scot free. Once again, Anonymous targets the rape-loving locals. And once again, suddenly, the “justice’ system starts prosecuting the rapist:

Short form: A young girl got drugged and raped by a high school football star in Maryville, MO. The locals covered it up, dismissed the charges, abused the victim and her family, and generally acted like the rape-loving mother***ers that they are. Indeed, they got the victim’s mother fired, ran the family out of town, and burned down their house. When the family objected, the local pig lawman said that they should just “get over it”. Meanwhile, the scumsucking child-molesting rapist s***head is off at college, making rape jokes on Twitter.

Then, Anonymous got pissed off. And just like in other crappy little rape-havens across the country (like Steubenville, Torrington, et.al) people from outside of the pisspot little towns (like, say the Attorney General) started pressuring the locals to do something about the crimes except jerk off while watching the incriminating videos of the rapes. The locals have, true to form, refused to put down their puds and enforce the law, so the Staties are stepping in. Hopefully it’ll end up like Steubenville, with the rapists in jail and the whole town under criminal investigation.

"Victory"? Somebody buy Ted Cruz a friggin' dictionary

Ted Cruz thinks that defeat is victory; or at least, he thinks that being ahead during a contest means more than who actually wins or loses at the end of a contest: http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/10/16/cruz-it-was-a-remarkable-victory-until-senate-republicans-caved-on-the-shutdown/

Of course, Teapublicans did not win a victory at the end of the recent shutdown/default debacle. At the end, they were forced to “surrender”, in the words of Speaker Boehner. Most of us see a surrender as a, well, defeat. But not Teddy Boi Cruz. In his world:
•Cleveland won a remarkable victory last week, because they led at the half. (Of course, Detroit won the game later)
•Rome won a remarkable victory over Rebbe Yeshua bar Joseph when they crucified him. (Of course, the Christians are still around, and the Roman empire is long gone).
•England won a remarkable victory over the rebellious American colonies…you get the idea.
