Sturgill Simpson. WOW.

Just saw him yesterday at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in San Francisco and holy crap, this guy is a genuine badass. I saw him a couple of years ago and he wasn't this..yet.
Now he and his band have grown into one fine band. Swamp rock mostly, not much country at all.
You can watch the show live from most stages or the rest of the festival, or any show from the festival on the hsb app. http://www.hardlystrictlybluegrass.com/2017/

Last night's Mandalay Bay shooting WAS NOT the largest

Mass shooting massacre in US history.

There is nothing i can say at the moment to this horrible shooting. It's a horror. But i would like to correct the narrative just a bit. I will add that the largest shooting massacre in U.S. history upon innocents not engaging in any battle at all was WOUNDED KNEE. On December 29, 1890, on Wounded Knee Creek in southwestern South Dakota, a tangle of events resulted in the deaths of more than 250, and possibly as many as 300, Native Americans. These people were guilty of no crime and were not engaged in combat. A substantial number were women and children.

Im thinking masturbating without a bunk mate or celly hearing would be pretty high on the list.

if the NFL owners were sincere (1%ers all) then Colin Kaepernick

Puerto Rico: What's next?

How and what is going to happen to an island devasted by the hurricane. How do they rebuild? Who pays for it? FEMA?

StLouis cops terrorize restaurant owner

i]On Friday, Pi Pizzeria was gassed by St. Louis police officers who were marching through the neighborhood after protests took an ugly turn a bit further west. Owner Chris Sommers was there.

Yesterday, the pro-police group Blue Lives Matters put Sommers on blast for his response and the union representing St. Louis County police officers shared the link and echoed the call on its Facebook page. "There are reports of people calling the restaurants tying up their phone lines expressing their feelings about the owners anti-police comments. We have been busy protecting everyone's free speech during the demonstrations. Here are the numbers if you feel like your freedom of speech needs a little exercise," the police union posted, sharing numbers for Pi locations.

Sommers posted this in response on his Facebook page. We are publishing it here with his permission.

On Friday night, at approximately 11:15pm, the SLMPD shot at me and gassed me. They did this, ostensibly, because I was screaming at them from across an empty street to stop terrorizing my dinner guests and team who were dining peacefully on a corner devoid of protestors or agitators.
