In order to compel them to testify against people who have committed bigger crimes. They can't take the 5th.
Garlands prosecutors will have lots of options when it comes to immunity. Trump and his inner circle are fucked.
For 4 years the Whitehouse was an insane asylum. We are lucky Trump didn't kill all of us.
We all heard the news reports while Trump was president. We knew, heard about the crazy shit happening in the Whitehouse. We knew Trump was out of his mind from the very beginning. Yesterday just gave us a better picture of what it was like.
What was really insane about the Trump era is all the people that blindly followed this fucking lunatic. Trump voters will become infamous for all time. History is going to brutal on them. They just don't know it yet.
The Republican Party will also pay a price. History is going to very unkind to The Republicans. The Trump era will not be forgotten and the people that lost their minds following a lunatic will not be forgotten.
Bidens choice of AG may turn out to be a very wise decision.
Garland is quiet, by the book, He follows the law. He is a moderate and he was a judge. By all accounts he is very well respected, even among Republicans. When Garland starts to indict people, he will come under political attack.
It will be much more difficult for Trump and the Republicans to call Garland an extremist, a Democrat out for revenge.
If Biden had picked an aggressive Democrat for AG, it would make it much easier for Trump and the Republicans to call it a political witch hunt.
Just my opinion.
Trumps crimes have become so severe, so dangerous, making Garlands political decision moot..
At this point, not indicting Trump would harm our country more than indicting him. Legally, Garland has more than enough evidence to charge Trump with multiple felonies. Our long history of never indicting a president may be coming to an end. Trump has given Garland no other choice. Trump at this moment is still trying to obstruct justice. He is still inciting violence. He must be removed from our society.
Hang on tight, it's going to be a hell of a ride.
Trump knew people were armed is a key piece of evidence.
Who did he know was armed? Was it the proud boys and oath keepers? The evidence is getting close to proving there was a direct tie to people who have been charged with seditious conspiracy, to the Whitehouse and Trump.
There is no telling what kind of evidence Garland has collected from proud boys and oath keepers who have already turned. Garland also has confiscated the phones, computers from all the proud boys and oath keepers who have been charged. It is obvious Roger Stone is a big target of Garland because Stone was hanging out with the proud boys and oath keepers for months. It's on video.
The indictments are coming people, it's just a matter of time.
At this point, all Trump can do is to plead insanity, He is fucked.
Meadows, Rudy, Flynn, Stone, all of them are fucked. They asked for pardons, they all knew what they were doing was illegal and the chances of them being indicted are very, very, high.
The possible charges against Trump and his band of traitors continues to grow. Witness tampering, obstruction of justice. I am wondering if they can be held responsible for all the injuries that occurred at the Capital. Add all this to election fraud, conspiracy, obstruction of congress.
The chances of some of them turning to save their own asses is thru the roof.
It would be poetic justice if it is a young women who brings down Trump and his band of traitors.
She has a lot of courage putting herself out in public to testify against all of these traitors.
Meadows aide sat in on many of the meetings between Trump and Meadows.
She knows a lot. She heard a lot. BOOM!
Meadows is in serious trouble. We now know Garland is investigating Trumps inner circle.
The testimony of his aide today could expose more crimes committed by Meadows and others. It is fair to say Garland is investigating Meadows. Meadows knows everything. From the very beginning I have said Meadows is someone who would turn on his own mother in an attempt to save his ass.
It will be interesting to see if Meadows aide will talk about the threats she has received. Does she know what documents Meadows destroyed? Did she and her new lawyer approach the committee asking to testify in public?
Republicans are attempting to form their own country.
It's like we are fighting the Confederacy again. They are going to lose again. Unfortunately many people are going to hurt.
