What I don't get is...

... why Trump's lewd borderline criminal comments about women should finally get such a reaction when he's been saying similar things about the disabled, Latinos, etc., etc., for months. Where is our capacity for moral outrage? Are we Victorians and only sex warrants a reaction?

There may be something to this.

But the problem is probably an over production. Not a low level. Ever heard of testosterone poisoning?

The reasons Tim Kaine interrupted so much.

It was clear to me that Kaine had planned ahead to interrupt repeatedly. It's very counter to his natural style. So, the question is, what was the rationale? Here are some possibilities. What do you all think?

1 - It was necessary for the debate to inspire a lot of talk, so Kaine's points about Trump would get repeated.

2 - He never intended to "win" on style. He mainly intended to repeat the points against Trump over and over.

3 - He hoped to rattle Pence. I kinda don't think this was a strong motivation. Pence is known for being an ice-man in interviews. Nothing rattles this former conservative talk show host. Mainly because he could care less what question he is being asked.

So how do we close that no-limits write off loophole anyway?

The organization for presidential debates has created a web site where people can suggest questions for the town hall debate. CNN and ABC have agreed to look at the top 30 suggestions and consider them for use in the debate.

I posted the following suggestion a little over 24 hours ago. It has stayed on the first page of "trending" suggestions that whole time. If everyone here who votes for it also tweets, shares and emails it, we have a chance of making the top 30. I'd love to hear what Donnie has to say, and I'm sure Hillary has a good plan all ready to lay out.

Hoping you'll all vote for this Town Hall debate question.

How would you close the loophole that allows writing off almost 1 billion?

What I want to know is why the NY attorney...

... general's office didn't discover this missing registration until now! Does it mean the good ol' boys really do "trump" party loyalty? Not that I think party loyalty should affect the AG's activities.... But were they bending over backwards not to look at mega rich Republicans?

Would love to hear from Nate Silver and his ilk...

... about why we shouldn't fear a Columbia or brexit phenomenon here. Why should we trust our polls to accurately predict the turnout of the angry contingent?

How does a bill become a law? (Vote for questions at the town hall debate)

Apparently ABC and CNN are collecting questions on line and allowing votes for those questions. They will "consider" the top 30. I urge all DUers to vote for "How does a bill become a law?" I've rolling on the floor at the prospect of Trump trying to answer that.

I can't fault Trump for not paying taxes he didn't owe, BUT...

... do we want a person with the values to set this up be in charge of closing down tax loop holes?

The REAL story is what did he have to do to sustain that loss? How many bankruptcies? Etc., etc. Was THAT legal? For sure it wasn't fair.

Time sensitive. Off to canvass NH in an hour.

I had been counting on getting a printable list of answers to various Clinton smears from correctrecord.org to hand to fence sitters who don't trust Hillary. I have such things for the e-mail report, and I was sure I had seen such a list on correctrecord.org, but I can't find it now.

If it's there, would someone tell me how to find it?

If you have info about any other place I could get such a printable list, I'd much appreciate it.

TIA
